Private services for Donald Roy Davis will be held. RiverwoodFamily Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Davis, 57, died July 3, 2008, at his residence. He was born onAug. 7, 1951, to W. C. Davis and Nellie Young.

He was retired. He was a member of Northview Baptist Church and aU.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam Era.

Preceding him in death was his stepfather, Finley Young.

Survivors are his wife, Jan Winborne Davis; his son, Steven Davisand wife, Amanda; his daughters, Melanie Blanton and husbandMichael, Dawn Barrios, Chasity Furr and husband, Jason, andMichelle Hatfield and husband, Guy; his brothers, Ronald Davis andwife, Wanda, Dale Walker and wife, Gladys, and Carl Young and wife,Annell; his stepmother, Louise Davis; 10 grandchildren; and onegreat-grandchild.

Memorials or gifts may be made to the Blair E. Batson Children’sHospital or Veterans of America.
