Gloria Mary Lambert Brondum

Services for Gloria Mary Lambert Brondum, of Bogue Chitto, are 6p.m. Thursday, Aug. 7, at Riverwood Family Funeral ServiceChapel.

Visitation is Thursday from 5 until 6 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mrs. Brondum, 79, died Aug. 3, 2008, at her residence. She wasborn on Jan. 19, 1929, to Edgar J. Lambert and Vincenette CucciaLambert.

She was retired. She was of the Catholic faith. She was a memberof the Louisiana National Guard Enlisted Associate Auxiliary.

Preceding her in death were her parents and a son, Bruce GerardBrondum.

Survivors are her husband, Michel “Mickey” Charles Brondum; adaughter, Lois Ann Brondum Cochrane; her four grandchildren,Michelle Marie Mortara, Bruce Gerard Mortara Sr., Holly AnnCochrane and Adrien Laurence Cochrane; her six great-grandchildren,Arianna Echar, Seth Bergeron, Rene Marchetta, Jasmine Mortara,Ariel Mortara and Bruce Mortara Jr.

Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.

Robert L. Kitchens Jr.

Services for Robert L. Kitchens Jr., of Hazlehurst, are 2 p.m.Wednesday, Aug. 6, at Sylvarena Baptist Church in Wesson withburial in the church cemetery. Stringer Family Funeral Services isin charge of arrangements.

Mr. Kitchens, 84, died Aug. 4, 2008, at Trinity Mission Healthand Rehab in Hinds County.

He was a lifelong resident of Hazlehurst. He was an originalemployee of Edward Hymn Company for 35-plus years and later workedat Team Safety Apparel. He raised cattle and vegetables. Mr.Kitchens was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church and oftenattended Sylvarena Baptist Church.

Survivors are a son, Robert Lee Kitchens III, of Clinton; adaughter, Kathleen K. Waltman, of Wesson; a sister, Dorothy LanellSchultz, of Hazlehurst; an aunt, Elzina Johnson, of Terry; hisgrandchildren, Kim McLemore, Tod Waltman, Jennifer Kitchens, RobWaltman and Whitney Waltman; and several great-grandchildren.

Helen S. McCaffrey

Services for Helen S. McCaffrey, of Bogue Chitto, are 1 p.m.Wednesday, Aug. 6, at Riverwood Family Funeral Service Chapel withburial in Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. McCaffrey, 80, died Aug. 4, 2008, at Haven Hall Health CareCenter. She was born on March 29, 1928, to Versie Smith and GraceSmith.

She was a retired bookstore manager at Southwest MississippiJunior College. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in BogueChitto.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, JohnMcCaffrey; a son, Johnny McCaffrey; and her brothers, Clyde Smith,Vernon Smith and Oscar Smith.

Survivors are her a daughter, Kathy Bonnabel and husband, John;her five grandchildren, Van Bonnabel and Adam Bonnabel, ofBrookhaven, Emily Windmiller, of Raeford, N.C., Patrick McCaffreyand Daniel McCaffrey, of Spring, Texas; and a great-grandchild,Gunnar Windmiller, of Raeford.
