Harold Reid

Services for Harold Reid, of Jayess, are 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan.28, at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Tilton UnitedMethodist Church Cemetery in Jayess.

Visitation is Tuesday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mr. Reid, 76, died Jan. 25, 2009, at Lawrence County NursingCenter. He was born in Jayess on Aug. 1, 1932, to Albert Reid andHettie Tullis Reid.

He moved back to Jayess 41 years ago from Houston, Texas. Heretired as a supervisor with the Kellwood Company in McComb. Healso served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He was amember of Unity Church of Christ in Jayess and was a past member ofthe Jayess Masonic Lodge. He was a very avid golfer.

Preceding him in death were his parents; a brother, Alton C.Reid; and his sisters, Patsy Ruth Reid and Dimple BristerMitchell.

Survivors are his wife, Ann Mann Reid; his sons, Don Reid, GlennReid, Steve Reid and wife, Paula, and Chris Reid, all of Jayess;his seven grandchildren; and his 11 great-grandchildren.
