Services for Harry S. Truman Wallace, of Bogue Chitto, are 2p.m. Tuesday, June 9, at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel on NorthJackson Street with burial in Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery inBogue Chitto.

Visitation is Monday from 5 until 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 8 a.m.until 2 p.m at the funeral home.

Mr. Wallace, 63, died June 6, 2009, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter in Brookhaven. He was born in Lincoln County on July 10,1945, to Percy Quin Wallace and Hardie Winborne Wallace.

He was a retired journeyman electrician. He was a member of FairOaks Springs Masonic lodge and also the International Brotherhoodof Electrical Workers of Meridian. He loved to hunt and to fish.Mr. Wallace particularly enjoyed rabbit hunting.

Preceding him in death were his parents; a sister-in-law, MarySmith Wallace; a granddaughter, Chynna Wallace.

Survivors are his sons, Rex Wallace, of Bogue Chitto, ScottWallace, Chad Quin Wallace, both of Summit, and Douglas Thames, ofBogue Chitto; his brothers, Dempsey Wallace and Dan Wallace andwife, Gail, all of Bogue Chitto; his sisters, Omega W. Varnado andhusband, Lenton A. Vernado Jr., of Mesquite, Texas, and ElizabethW. Smith and husband, John Ray Smith, of Brookhaven; his threegrandchildren, Kayla, Courtney and Donovan; and numerous nieces,nephews and cousins.

Pallbearers are Robert Varnado, Chase Bonham, Travis Bonham, BoThames, Josh Leggett and John Ray Smith.
