Winfred L. Beall
Services for Winfred L. Beall, of Senatobia, were 11 a.m.Tuesday, Nov. 24, at Zion Hill Baptist Church in Wesson with burialin Zion Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Beall, 81, died Nov. 20, 2009, at Baptist MemorialHospital-Desoto in Southaven. He was born in Copiah County on Sept.9, 1928, to James Luther Beall and Maggie Davis Beall.
He lived his entire life in Copiah County, prior to residing inSenatobia Convalescent Center in Senatobia. Mr. Beall was a veteranof the Korean War. He was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church. Heenjoyed watching sports and spending time with his family,especially his two granddaughters.
Preceding him in death were his parents; his brothers, OttoBeall, L.L. Beall, Ray Beall, Rowan Beall, Prentiss Beall, GeorgeBeall and Dennis Beall; and his sisters, Maybelle Derrick, PearlMcCardle, Mary Lee McCarroll and Vera Dyess.
Survivors are his wife, Hellon W. Beall, of Senatobia; adaughter, Robbie Walker and husband, Curt Walker; his brothers,Jack Beall, of Kosciusko, and Lee Beall, of Wesson; his sisters,Ruby Montgomery, of Brookhaven, and Minnie Jane Wooten, of Wesson;and his two grandchildren, Kate and Kara Walker, of Hernando.
Gloria F. McCrory
Graveside services for Gloria F. McCrory, of Meadville, were 11a.m. Friday, Nov. 27, at Squires Cemetery between Jena and Olla,La. Franklin Funeral Home in Meadville was in charge ofarrangements.
Mrs. McCrory, 71, died Nov. 24, 2009, at Meadville ConvalescentHome. She was born in Summerville, La., on Feb. 26, 1938, toRaleigh Roark and Audrey Cockerhn Roark.
She was a retired chiropractor.
Preceding her in death were her parents.
Survivors include her husband, Benjamin McCrory Sr., of Olla,La.; her sons, Kimble Lisenby, of Furney, Texas; her stepson,Benjamin McCrory Jr., of Houston, Texas; her daughters, KaylonBonds and Kristen Bonds, both of Roxie; her stepdaughter, DebraShelton, of Haughton, La.; her sisters, Shirley Cole and BertMasters; her eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Beverly Ann Case Short
Graveside services for Beverly Ann Case Short, of Brookhaven,are 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 28, at Macedonia Baptist ChurchCemetery. Riverwood Family Funeral Service is in charge ofarrangements.
Mrs. Short, 57, died Nov. 24, 2009, at River Land Medical Centerin Ferriday, La. She was born on May 21, 1955, to George W. Caseand Annie Mae Thames Case.
She was of the Baptist faith.
Preceding her in death were her parents; a sister, MelissaDarlene Case; and her grandparents, Thomas Wilford and Lillian Caseand Ezra and Annie Pearl Thames.
Survivors include her brothers, Dennis Case, of Montgomery,Ala., and George Anthony Case, of Brookhaven; her uncle, EmmittThames, of Gulfport; and an aunt, Ada Lois Bessonette, ofBrookhaven.

Graveside services for Helen P. Smith, of Brookhaven, are 11a.m. Saturday, Nov. 28, at Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery inBrookhaven. Brookhaven Funeral Home on Natchez Drive is in chargeof arrangements.
Mrs. Smith, 85, died Nov. 22, 2009, at her daughter’s residencein Brookhaven. She was born in Franklin County on May 18, 1924, toW.C. Bill Crane and Dollie Smith Crane.
She was a homemaker and a member of Friendship BaptistChurch.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Leland”Tootsie” Smith; and a brother, W.J. Crane.
Survivors are her daughter, Abby Dunaway and her husband,Bailey, of Brookhaven; three grandchildren, Bailey “Danny” DunawayJr., and wife, Ginnie, Kevin Dunaway and Melissa Gardner andhusband, Major Whitney Gardner; nine great-grandchildren, BaileyElizabeth Dunaway, Brianna Dunaway, Sara Harper Dunaway, SavannaDunaway, Madeline Dunaway, Isabelle Dunaway, Grason Gardner, GretaGardner and Manda Smith; one-great-great-grandson, Darrin Smith;her nieces and nephews, Peggy Whitsley and husband, Whit; JudyWright and husband, Garland, Joy, Jackie and Preston and families;her brother-in-law, Clyde Smith; her sister-in-law, Ruby Crane; andher special companion, Bama.
