Funeral services for Jessie Irene Lindsey, of Byram, are 10 a.m.on Saturday, Feb. 5, at Riverwood Family Funeral Service Chapel,with burial in Rosehill Cemetery in Brookhaven.

Visitation is Friday from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Lindsey, 88, died Feb. 3, 2011, at Hospice Ministries inRidgeland. She was born in Mississippi on March 8, 1922, to JesseMerrell Jackson and Hattie Evans Jackson.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of 38th Avenue Baptist Churchin Hattiesburg.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Jesse and Hattie Jackson;her husband, Warner A. Lindsey; her son, Warner Michael Lindsey;and her grandson, Tad Lindsey.

Survivors are her daughters, Debbie Holmes and husband, RonnieHolmes, and Jacque McCormick and husband, the Rev. Tom McCormick;her daughter-in-law, Linda Lindsey; her grandchildren, David M.Lindsey, Stephen K. Lindsey, Jessica Holmes Breland, Jarrod Holmes,Joshua McCormick and Hannah McCormick; and her ninegreat-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Mississippi Baptist Children’sVillage.
