Services for Claudia Loper Garrison, ofMcCall Creek, are noon, Saturday, Aug. 27,  at First Baptist Church of Bude withburial in Midway Cemetery in Meadville. Franklin Funeral Home inMeadville is in charge of arrangements.

    Visitation is Saturday from 10 a.m. until noon at the church.

    Mrs. Garrison died Tuesday, Aug. 23, 2011, at Natchez RegionalMedical Center. She was born on March 17, 1921, to Claude Loper andJanie Kennison Loper.

    She was a homemaker and loved her cats Sally and Jack. She alsoenjoyed working with and watching her flowers grow. She was amember of First Baptist Church in Bude.

    She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, PercyO’Neal and John Garrison, to whom she was married 61 years; hersons, George O’Neal and David O’Neal; her sons-in-law, Jason Sealeand Mario Mira; her granddaughter, Tiffany O’Neal; a brother T.J.Ellington; and two sisters, Pearl Watson and Kathern Delaney.

    Survivors include her daughters Claris Westbrook and husband Elton,of McCall Creek, Jackie Kent and husband, Kenneth, of Meadville,and Dera Mira, of Tampa, Fla.; her daughter-in-law, Ricki O’Neal,of Lafayette, La.; her sons, John Garrison, of Sulphur, La., andRoyce Garrison, of Raptor, Ala.; her sister-in-law, MableEllington, of Washington, Miss.; her brother, Charles Loper, ofBude; 18 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; and onegreat-great-grandchild; and many loving nieces nephews and friendsat Meadville Convalescent Home.

    A mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed.

    Pallbearers will be Kenneth O’Neal, Dustin O’Neal, Hunter Hatcher,David Westbrook, Kalah Garrison, Jacob Garrison, Wayne Delaney andGlenn Westbrook.
