“We’re having the event at a new venue this year and we’ve got afew new ideas to make the evening even more fun than ever,” saidBARL volunteer, Rusty Adcock.

The night’s menu will consist of good food, with a Southernflair; and, I guarantee it will be delicious.”

The Celebrity Waiters (local business people and communityleaders), dressed in costume at their decorated tables, willentertain guests as they raise Tips for the animals.  A silentauction will take place throughout the evening, and a live auctionwith a professional auctioneer will round out the night’sactivities.

“A professional auctioneer leads the live auction, which is asight to see.  And keep in mind proceeds from the event – theticket sales, Tips, and money generated from the live and silentauctions directly benefits the animals,” said Adcock.

BARL volunteers are currently recruiting Celebrity Waiters, seeking sponsorships and gathering items for the auctions.

“Auction items will range from $5 to $800.  We have somethingfor everyone’s budget,” said Adcock.
