Mr. and Mrs. David Roberson of Brookhaven announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Amanda Kristen Roberson, to Christopher Shawn Smith.

The prospective groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Terry Smith of Brookhaven. He is the grandson of Pat Smith and the late Larry Smith, Eddie Furr and the late Lorene Furr and the late Mary Jane Furr of Brookhaven.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. L.D. Roberson of Brookhaven and the late Mr. and Mrs. G.T. Orman of Cleveland.

The couple will exchange vows at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 5, 2012, at Bethel Temple Pentecostal Church in Brookhaven.
