Funeral services for Mary Lou Boyte Pate, of Metairie, La., formerly of Brookhaven, are 3 p.m. on Saturday, July 28, at Riverwood Family Funeral Service, with burial in Union Baptist Church Cemetery.

     Visitation is Saturday from 1 until 3 p.m. at the funeral home.

     Mrs. Pate, 73, died July 22, 2012, at Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans. She was born in Mississippi on April 9, 1939, to Charlie and Lou Crane Boyte.

     She was a homemaker and mother and a member of Parkview Baptist Church.

     Preceding her in death were her parents; and husband, A.C. Pate Jr.

     Survivors are her sons, Rick Pate and wife, Debbie, and Mike Pate and wife, Wendy; daughter, Cindy Pate Besselman and husband, Jim; brothers, R.W. Boyte and John David Boyte; 16 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
