Seven teams braved Thursday’s cold weather for the Brookhaven Country Club’s weekly Senior Scramble. An 11-under 59 took first place as the team of Richard Stephens, Eddie Ashley, Roy Ginn and Ronnie Grenn carded the winning score.

Second place at 9-under 61 was the team of Les Dunn, Dub Stuard, John Darrington and Yogi Yarbrough. Third place at 7-unde 63 went to Jerry Kimbel, Berkley Steel, James Martin and Herman Farmer.

The Senior Scramble is open to the public and starts each Thursday at 9 a.m. Entry deadline is 8:30.
