Funeral services for Edward Smith of Bogue Chitto are 2 p.m. on Friday, May 17, at Brookhaven Funeral Home on Natchez Drive, with burial in Riverwood Memorial Park.

Visitation is Thursday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Smith, 66, died May 11, 2013 at his home.

Preceding him in death were his parents, J.P. and Eula Rushing Smith.

Survivors are his wife, Kathy Smith; sons, James Edward Smith, and wife, Carol, and Jason Smith, and wife, Tiffany, all of Bogue Chitto; daughter, Michelle Caves, and husband, Kevin, of Meadville; brother, Mervin Smith; sister, Brenda Prather; grandchildren, Brittany Smith, Cody Caves, Ryan Smith, Daria Smith and Dawson Smith; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
