Floyd Ray Bardwell

Funeral services for Floyd Ray Bardwell of Bogue Chitto were 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 15, at Brookhaven Funeral Home, with burial in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Bardwell, 69, died June 13, 2013 at his home. He was born in Ruth on Dec. 12, 1943 to Henry Bardwell and Fannie Mae Adams Bardwell.
He was a retired welder. He loved his family and loved to spend time with his grandchildren, go hunting and fishing with his brother, as well as just talking with his sister.
Preceding him in death were his parents; stepson, Jamie Bardwell; grandson, Dylan Charles Bardwell; three brothers, Bennie Bardwell, Tom Eli Bardwell and Henry Bardwell Jr.; two sisters, Lonnie Fay Bardwell and Annie Lee Dennis; a special niece, Linda Lee Hodges; brother-in-law, Charles Lofton; and niece, Shirley Lofton.
Mr. Bardwell is survived by one daughter, Ruby Wallace and husband, Kurt, of Bogue Chitto; a stepson, Kenneth Ray Bardwell and wife, Ratonia, of Pascagoula; two brothers, Allen Bardwell and wife, Ruby, of Bogue Chitto and Aurice Bardwell of Wesson; one sister, Joyce Lofton of West Lincoln; 11 grandchildren, Matthew Wallace, Peyton Wallace, Kelsey Wallace, Zachary Bardwell, Quintin Bardwell, Timothy Bardwell, Kenneth Ray Bardwell Jr., Jessie James Bardwell, Shane Bardwell, Brentaja Bardwell and Trisha Wallace; two great-grandchildren, Madison Smith and Calvin Smith Jr.; special nieces and nephews including Virginia Bardwell Davis, Linda Bardwell Haralson, Glenda Bardwell McCaffery and Michael Bardwell, as well as other nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews; and also his beloved special pet, Trixie Bardwell.
Pallbearers were Rusty Davis, John Haralson, Kurt Wallace, Aubrey Wallace, James Smith and Robert Holcomb. The Rev. Floyd Higginbotham officiated.
