A resident of Meadville, Jeremy Lawrence Owen died on Sunday, June 23, 2013 in Kentwood. He was born June 5, 1987 in Wurzburg, Germany and was 26 years of age.

He was a student at Copiah-Lincoln Community College and a member of the Mississippi National Guard. He was also a member of O’Zion Baptist Church in Meadville. He is survived by his daughter, Alexa LaClaire Owen; mother, Ramona Trout Owen; father, Frank Vincent Owen Sr.; stepmother, Callie Michelle Owen; brothers and sisters, Frank Vincent Owen Jr., Amber Marie Owen, Ashley Elizabeth Robison and husband, Jacob, and Joshua Alexander Owen; niece, Lanna Marie Robison; grandparents, Larry and Jean Trout, Frank and Linda Owen and Jerrie Sue Cutrer and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Preceded him in death were his sister, Courtney Lynn Owen; aunt, Dixie Lea Owen; and grandparents, Carolyn Ann Hoover and James Edward Wroten Sr. Visitation is at McKneely Funeral Home, Kentwood, La., from 5 until 9 p.m. on Tuesday and from 8 a.m. until religious services at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, June 26.
