Graveside services for Zelda Jeanne Thomas Lewis will be 2 p.m., Monday, Nov. 16, 2015 at Riverwood Memorial Park. Riverwood Family Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Lewis, 82, of Brookhaven, died November 13, 2015 at Kings Daughter’s Medical Center. She was born June 3, 1933, to James Mason Thomas and Maude Marie Brown Thomas.

She was an Avon representative and retired as manager of Teaching Tools in Phoenix, Arizona. Jeanne was a faithful servant of the Lord. She was a diligent church worker and was always ready to give a helping hand to anyone in need. Jeanne was a member of Bogue Chitto Assembly of God. She now rests in the sweet arms of Jesus.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors are her husband, Jim Lewis; sons, Jimmy Don Lewis and wife, Melanie and Thomas Ray Lewis; sisters, Betty Baker and Shari Volpe; brothers-in-law, Nollie Lewis, Maxie Lewis and Steve Lewis and wife, Sherry; and sister-in-law, Bonnie Lewis Brown; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
