Two local golf courses hosted scrambles Thursday.

In the Brookhaven Country Club’ scramble event Curtis Barnes, John Daringter, Craig Crozier and Ronnie Grenn emerged victorious. The group  scored 54 to claim first place overall in the scramble.

In second place was the group of John Gray, Philip Waltman, Henry Wallace and Eddie Coleman with a score of 56.

In third place with a total score of 60 were Bob Plue, Ed Guthrie, Carl McDaniel and Bobby Bouwell.

At the Wolf Hollow golf course in Wesson, Bud Britt, Ronnie Hewitt, Louis Midkiff and Richard Spence scored 8 under par to claim first place.

Chris Mcsweyne Carrie McSweyne, Katie McSweyne and Russell Elliot placed second in Wolf Hollow’s scramble with an overall score of 6 under par.

In third place were Donnie Sasser, Mark Coleman, Alan Coleman and Kate Cole.
