MHP works fire, overturned vehicle wrecks on I-55 in Lincoln County

Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop M responded to an 18 wheeler fire on I-55 at approximately 10:30 p.m. Tuesday night.
The one-vehicle accident occurred near mile marker 37 in the southbound lanes, Trooper First Class Craig James told The Daily Leader.
Another tractor-trailer truck overturned in the northbound lanes of I-55 Wednesday morning near mile marker 48, blocking the left lane and part of the right lane. Troopers directed traffic around the wreck on the right shoulder.
Lanes were cleared and reopened around 9 a.m.
