Loyd Star junior Aubrey Britt won first place last weekend at the Clinton Arrow Cross Country Invitational with a time of 20 minutes and 33 seconds over the 5K course. The meet had two divisions with  larger schools running in the red division. Britt ran in the black division race. Britt is the three-time defending 2A state champion and beat out a field of 90 runners in her race. Loyd Star cross-country is coached by Michelle Case.
