Brookhaven teenager Tralisia Williams, missing since Jan. 5, has been located and is safe.

Brookhaven Police Chief Kenneth Collins said Williams was being held by an out-of-state jurisdiction, awaiting transport home by Lincoln County Sheriff’s deputies.

Collins thanked members of the community, officers with BPD and LCSO, and multiple others for their help in locating Williams — including Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics, Mississippi Bureau of Investigation, 14th Judicial District DA, Brookhaven CSpire, Walmart and Stan King Chevrolet.

“If we do not work together, we will go into the future alone,” Collins said. “That’s why it’s so important to work with every agency. And thank you, Jesus.”
