Lincoln County’s Board of Supervisors has voted to continue to adhere to CDC guidelines for all county buildings and meetings.
After a closed-door session to discuss legalities of the potential decision, the board voted unanimously to maintain adherence to the guidelines provided by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention related to the workplace.
These guidelines include wearing of facemasks while in county buildings or places where other social distancing measures are hard to maintain and encouraging distancing and frequent hand washing.
Employees and visitors to the Lincoln County/Brookhaven Governmental Complex will continue to see signs on entrance doors advising that masks must be worn in the building.
