BA takes golf title in Natchez, to host tournament

Photo submitted The Brookhaven Academy golf team recently won a tournament in Natchez at Beau Pre Country Club. The Cougars edged out Adams County Christian School, Cathedral School and Silliman Institute for the top trophy. Members of the team include, from left, Daniel Falvey, Bubba Jordan, Sam Bandy, Corey Case and Hayden Adams. Case finished second overall in Natchez while Bandy and Adams tied for third place. Craig Smith and Erin Bandy coach the team. Monday, BA will co-host The Cougar Invitational Tournament with Columbia Academy at The Club at Ole Brook. Columbia is coached by BA alum Brett Rutland. Also playing in the invitational will be teams from Parklane Academy, Simpson Academy, Bowling Green School, Copiah Academy, Silliman, ACCS and Cathedral.
