The Brookhaven Regional Arts Guild’s annual Regional Art Competition is coming up in May.

Entries will be on display at the Thames Conference Center in Wesson and online at bragARTS.com.

Deadline for submissions is Friday, April 30, at 6 p.m. with drop off Saturday, May 1, 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. at the conference center.

The contest is open to all Mississippi, Louisiana and Alabama artists age 18 and older. A maximum of three entries per artist can be submitted. All artwork must be original, current and not previously exhibited in juried competitions. Categories and additional rules can be found on BRAG’s website. The entry fee is $10 per artwork.

Prizes are as follows: Honorable mentions receive ribbons; $50 third place in each category; $75 second place in each category; $100 first place in each category; Best of Show $150 award; $100 for People’s Choice; and $500 Bank of Brookhaven Sponsor Award.
