The University of Mississippi will celebrate more than 5,000 candidates for graduation in the Class of 2021 during the university’s 168th commencement exercises April 29 – May 2.

The following local students are candidates for graduation:

Bogue Chitto

• Chase Wallace is a candidate for a Master of Education. Wallace is an educational leadership K12 major in the Graduate School.
• Noah Patrick McKone is a candidate for a B.S.B.E. in Biomedical Engineering. McKone is a biomedical engineering major in the School of Engineering.
• Ashley Marie Adams is a candidate for a Bachelor of Arts. Adams is a mathematics major in the College of Liberal Arts.
• Caleb Crosby is a candidate for a Bachelor of Arts. Crosby is a linguistics major in the College of Liberal Arts.

Brookhaven

• Allison Michelle Williams is a candidate for a Bachelor of Science. Williams is a Hospitality Management major in the School of Applied Sciences.
• Sara Kathryn Rushing is a candidate for a Bachelor of Business Administration. Rushing is a General Business major in the School of Business Administration.
• Anna Margaret Williams is a candidate for a Bachelor of Science. Williams is a Integrated Marketing Comm major in the School of Journalism and New Media.
• Shelby Allen Flumm is a candidate for a B.S. in Pharmaceutical Sciences. Flumm is a Pharmaceutical Sciences major in the School of Pharmacy.
• Anna Kathryn Smith is a candidate for a B.S. in Pharmaceutical Sciences. Smith is a Pharmaceutical Sciences major in the School of Pharmacy.
• Mason Bradford Gardner is a candidate for a Bachelor of Arts. Gardner is a Biochemistry major in the College of Liberal Arts.
• Ambrinica Tyesha Charnell McCoy is a candidate for a Bachelor of Arts. McCoy is a Biological Science major in the College of Liberal Arts.
• Reagan Elizabeth Whittington is a candidate for a Bachelor of Arts. Whittington is a History major in the College of Liberal Arts.
• Carly Ann Barker is a candidate for a Master of Accountancy and Data Analytics. Barker is a Master of Accy. & Data Analytics major in the Graduate School.
• Pollyanna Patterson is a candidate for a Bachelor of Accountancy. Patterson is an accountancy major in the Patterson School of Accountancy.
• Elizabeth Harbour Mooney is a candidate for a Bachelor of Science. Mooney is a communication sciences/disorders major in the School of Applied Sciences.
• De’ Jour Rasheen Fox is a candidate for a Bachelor of Business Administration. Fox is a management major in the School of Business Administration.
• Anna Brooke Davis is a candidate for a Bachelor of Arts in Education. Davis is an elementary education major in the School of Education.
• Whitney Moak is a candidate for a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science. Moak is an exercise science major in the School of Applied Sciences.

McCall Creek

• Jacee Annamarie Palmer is a candidate for a Bachelor of Arts. Palmer is a Sociology major in the College of Liberal Arts.

Monticello

• Lonnie Marvin Vining is a candidate for a Master of Arts. Vining is a Philosophy major in the Graduate School.

Wesson

• Kyle Gregory Holloway is a candidate for a B.S. in Pharmaceutical Sciences. Holloway is a Pharmaceutical Sciences major in the School of Pharmacy.
• Mary Munn is a candidate for a Bachelor of Business Administration. Munn is a General Business major in the School of Business Administration.
• Rodney Cabe Stephens is a candidate for a B.S. in Civil Engineering. Stephens is a Civil Engineering major in the School of Engineering.

“This class of graduates is marked by incredible achievements, character and resilience, and it is a great privilege to celebrate them during Commencement,” said UM Chancellor Glenn Boyce. “They have accomplished so much during their years at the university, and the path ahead is bright and filled with endless possibilities.”

Jonathan T.M. Reckford, chief executive officer of Habitat for Humanity International, will deliver the Commencement address, which will take place at 8 a.m. May 1 in Vaught-Hemingway Stadium.

Commencement ceremonies, including those for individual schools and colleges, will be livestreamed.

Commencement exercises for the Class of 2020 are slated for May 6-8. Morning convocation is scheduled for 8 a.m. May 8 in Vaught-Hemingway Stadium.
