Former Brookhaven Academy infielder Morgan Smith has signed a letter-of-intent to continue her career and education at Belhaven University.

Smith just finished her sophomore season playing for Southwest Mississippi Community College in Summit. Belhaven competes at the NCAA Division III level and is coached by Kevin Griffin. The Blazers are currently 30-10 on the season.

As a senior, Smith was a starter and MAIS All-Star on a 37-5-1 2A state runners-up team for coach Becky Flowers at BA.
