Brookhaven Technical Center recently received MS-CPAS year-end test scores for the Polymer Science program. The state pass rate for Polymer Science 1 (PS1) and Polymer Science 2 (PS2) combined was 70%. BTC’s program had a 96% overall pass rate.

In addition, of the 135 tested students from the seven programs across the state, only 13 students scored at the Advanced Performance Level. BTC claimed 10 of the 13 Advanced scores. BTC’s students also ranked first in the state in both PS1 and PS2 among the total programs.

Students are Cadence Laird, Jillian Porter, Holden Britt, David Sones, Katelyn Morrison, Quinn Boerner, Wyatt Scott, Ashton Ogletree, Zach Hirsch and Ben Simmons. The polymer science instructor is Leah Ann Peavey.
