The Brookhaven Farmers Market returns Friday to Railroad Park.

A variety of farm and garden-based vendors will have their wares available for purchase and subsequent enjoyment from 8 a.m. until noon.

A few of the vendors confirmed are Sara Doman of The Artist + The Flower, Pell Farm goat’s milk products, Mischief & Me soaps, tomatoes from Strong Growers Wesson and Anita’s Homemade Goodies. Several more are expected.

Mississippi musical artist Ralph Miller will provide entertainment during the opening day market.

After Friday’s kickoff for the season, markets will be open each Friday from 8 a.m. until noon in Railroad Park and each Tuesday from 2 to 5 p.m. in the Godbold Transportation Center/Amtrak Station. In case of rain or other inclement weather on Fridays, the market will be moved to the train station.
