The Loyd Star boy’s junior high basketball team and coach Seth Britt recently won first place in the Lincoln County JH Basketball Tournament hosted by West Lincoln. The Hornets beat Enterprise in the championship game.

Members of the team include Brayden Richardson, Anthony Humphrey, Cameron Leggett, Graham Smith, Carter King, Adreon Byrd, Kaughner Melton, Jake Smith, Jordan Kees and Paxton Zumbro.
