A southbound section of Interstate 55 was temporarily closed this morning due to a crash involving a FedEx truck, according to Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop M Cpl. Craig James.

McComb Police Department worked the crash and Troopers helped divert traffic near mile marker 16.

As of 9 a.m. lanes were cleared and traffic was moving, James said.
