The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a Wednesday morning shooting on California Road.

“At approximately 12:19 [a.m.] we received a call from a subject stating that someone shot at his residence,” said Sheriff Steve Rushing. “No vehicle was seen but we are running down a couple of leads dealing with possible suspect.”

Around three shots were fired with at least one striking the home, Rushing said.
