Lawrence County schools go virtual due to threats

Lawrence County High School will be virtual Thursday and Friday, Feb. 10 and 11, due to the social media threat at Lawrence County High School Wednesday.

On-campus classes are set to resume Monday, Feb. 14. Grab-and-Go Meals containing breakfast and lunch will be available from 11 a.m. until noon at the cafeteria for LCHS students only.

“Thank you for your understanding and patience. The safety of our students and staff continues to be our top priority,” a message from the district to patents Wednesday afternoon stated.
