No injuries were reported after a passenger vehicle struck the rear of a school bus on Hwy. 84 in Lawrence County Wednesday morning.

During regular bus routes, an accident occurred between a midsize SUV and Lawrence County School District bus No. 11 on Hwy. 84 east of Monticello at approximately 7:20 a.m.

A statement from the district said no one was injured in the accident, and all students had been delivered to their respective school sites by 9 a.m.

Mississippi Highway Patrol Troopers and Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office deputies were among emergency response personnel responding to the wreck.
