Mississippi Highway Patrol Troopers worked a pair of two-vehicle wrecks April 1 in Lincoln County.

The first was on Hwy. 51 S at Bogue Chitto Road at 6:57 a.m. There were no injuries.

The second was on Hwy. 84 W at 3:01 p.m. Two vehicles collided in the eastbound lanes near Doolittle Lane, resulting in injuries.

Troopers also worked two one-vehicle wrecks without injuries in Lincoln County over the remainder of the weekend.

Saturday at 10:54 a.m., Troopers responded to a one-vehicle wreck on I-55 southbound at exit 48.

In the early hours of Sunday — 12:12 a.m. — another wreck occurred on I-55, this time northbound at exit 40. There were also no injuries in this one-vehicle wreck.
