Keith Robinson, a product of Brookhaven High School, had a championship winning 2022 while
competing for the track and field team at the University of Louisiana Monroe.
In February, Robinson won the 60-meter dash at the Sunbelt Conference Indoor Championships
with a career best time of 6.74 seconds in Birmingham, Alabama.
Robinson played basketball and ran track at Brookhaven High before graduating in 2018.
He then went on to run for two seasons as a part of the track and field program at Meridian
Community College.
Last season as a junior, Robinson ran the 60-meter dash during the indoor season and the 100-
meter dash during the outdoor season for the ULM Warhawks as he also did the same events this season as a senior. Robinson also spent time running the 4×100-meter relay team in 2021.
The son of Keith and Sharon Robinson, he’ll return to run track one more season due to a
COVID-19 related extra year of eligibility granted by the NCAA.
A dean’s list student with a grade point average of 3.5, he’ll use next year to pursue a master’s
degree in exercise science.
Robinson was named Sunbelt Track Athlete of the Week in February after running a personal
best 6.77 seconds in the 60-meter dash at the Samford Bulldog Open.
He was tabbed for the 2022 Sunbelt Indoor Track All-Conference team.
During the outdoor championships in May, Robinson was second overall in the 100-meter dash
with a season best time of 10.24 in the event. He was also named 2022 Sunbelt Outdoor Track
Second Team All-Conference.
