Guest speaker was Carla Stringer, the Natchez Trace District Director for the Garden Clubs of Mississippi, Inc. Carla demonstrated how to prepare an Arbor Day Tablescape along with other seasonal tablescapes. A tablescape is simply the term used to describe the pairing of dinnerware with decor or the decor of the table itself. It is organizing your table in a way that expresses your own creativity. It is meant to voice a particular theme, ambiance, or feeling for everyone who sees it. WGC members thoroughly enjoyed the various and unique ideas that can be used to make a beautifully decorated table.
