The IRS Jackson Taxpayer Assistance Center will be open Saturday, March 11, 9 a.m. until 4 100 W Capital St.

The special opening is part of the IRS’s efforts to improve service this tax season. During the opening, taxpayers can receive face-to-face help from IRS employees without an appointment.

Normally, these centers are open during the week and appointments are needed. But walk-ins will be accepted for all routine services March 11, except for cash payments.
