A motorcycle crash on Hwy. 550 recently resulted in injuries to the rider.

At approximately 7:57 p.m. Thursday, March 30, Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop M troopers responded to reports of a single-vehicle wreck, according to Cpl. Craig James.

A 2009 Suzuki motorcycle operated by 28-year-old Antonia Nelson, of Hammond, Louisiana, was traveling south on MS Hwy. 550 when Nelson fell from the motorcycle. She received minor injuries and was transported via ambulance to King’s Daughters Medical Center for examination.

The crash remains under investigation by MHP.
