Four arrests were made Monday in Ruth when a search warrant was executed by the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office and Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics.

At approximately 10 p.m., LCSO and MBN served the warrant at a residence on Lambert Road. During the search, officers seized multiple firearms, along with crystal methamphetamine, heroin, fentanyl, marijuana and a THC extraction lab.

Two individuals were arrested at the residence. Two others were arrested at approximately 3:30 p.m. Tuesday in Copiah County by Copiah County Sheriff’s Office, LCSO and MBN.

Arrested were 39-year-old Mindy Nations of Bogue Chitto; 24-year-old Asia Boone of Brookhaven; 39-year-old John D. Rutland of Ruth; and 55-year-old Derrick Young of Jackson.

“Thank you to each and every one of you that had a hand in getting these dangerous drugs off of our streets,” Lawrence County Sheriff Ryan Everett said. “Great team work!”
