Today, Thursday, April 6, The Brookhaven Police Department and BPD Special Response Team will conduct a training exercise.

The training for the emergency units will take place from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m., in the area where Rogers Circle meets Robertson Street.

“We want all the residents in that area to know ahead of time what we are doing,” said BPD Chief Kenneth Collins. “If they see us all roll up, hear explosions or other loud sounds, they will know what’s going on.”
