Colby Calcote has been promoted to the position of senior vice president at Bank of Brookhaven.

Bank chairman Bill Sones made the announcement recently. Calcote has more than 17 years of banking experience, with the past two at Bank of Brookhaven.

Calcote is a graduate of the Mississippi School of Banking at The University of Mississippi. He is also a graduate of Loyd Star Attendance Center, Copiah-Lincoln Community College and The University of Southern Mississippi.

Calote and his wife Kathleen have two children, Wilson and Camille, and are members of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Brookhaven.
