Brookhaven Academy will send a large group of players to Vicksburg on Tuesday to play in the MAIS 5A South State Tournament. The Cougars, coached by Holly Pepper, recently won their district tournament.

Team members who will compete in 5A South State for the Cougars include Lillie Gates, Macy McDaniel, Annaston Poole, Jacie Douglas, Taylor Douglas, Swayze Poole, Emma Gates and Pepper, Wilson Calcote, Levi Dale, Cooper Strickland, John Pace, Nathan Poole, Austin Tanksley and J. Parker Watts.
