The Brookhaven Police Department posted photos on social media Friday afternoon of weapons, cash, illegal drugs and paraphernalia.

All were taken during a bust Thursday night in the Rogers Circle area. The confiscated items were valued in the thousands of dollars.

“This came from a continuous effort that is ongoing to help keep that area safer,” said Chief Kenneth Collins. “We have a beautiful city and to keep our city safe, it takes proactive work rather than always reacting to crime. That’s why we work countless hours of overtime and spend all this time away from our families.”
