The Wesson Garden Club met April 11, 2023 at the American Legion Post 79.

Those in attendance were Marilyn Britt, Sherri Carty, Sonya Cowen, Robin Furr, Cherry Head, Camille Johnston, Vickie Martin, June Owens, Pam Owens, Jennifer Peets, Joy Phillips, Jean Ricks, Debbie Smith, Lisa Smith, and Dixie Thornton. Providing delicious refreshments were hostesses, Cherry Head, Camille Johnston, and Vickie Martin.

Karen McKie with Green Oaks Nursery and Florist was the guest speaker. Karen instructed club members on how to properly care for house plants. She brought a variety of plants with some being unique and new species on the market now.

Karen shared pruning tips, how to propagate the different varieties of plants and how to keep your plants healthy. Club members enjoyed learning about the new plants species and many took some home with them.
