The Pisgah Dragons swept their MHSAA 2A first round series with a 13-1 home win over Bogue Chitto on Thursday and a 15-1 win at BC on Friday.

Pisgah (22-5) moves on to face Choctaw County (17-8) in the second round of the 2A bracket.

BC coach Candance McDowell has a young roster with no seniors and five eighth graders on her roster. The Bobcat (3-13) junior class includes Taylor Jackson, Jacey Frazier, Cassidy Donaho, Isabella Lawhorn and Autumn Ramshur.
