A 29-year-old Lincoln County man has been arrested and charged with solicitation of a minor.

Jesse A. Brister — with both Wesson and Bogue Chitto addresses — was taken into custody by the U.S. Marshals Service Tuesday, and booked into the Lincoln County Jail Wednesday morning.

On April 5, 2023, the Concordia Parish Sheriff’s Office Cyber Crime Unit began investigating an adult subject who had made contact with a minor online for sexual purposes. During the conversations on social media, the subject portrayed himself as a juvenile, transmitted numerous sexually explicit photos of himself, and requested the same in return, according to Sheriff David Hedrick.

Detectives were able to positively identify the subject through internet service providers, and a warrant was obtained for his arrest.

Brister has been charged with computer-aided solicitation of a minor, and indecent behavior with juveniles. He awaits extradition by CPSO.

All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
