Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop M troopers responded to three motor vehicle wrecks Friday and Saturday in Copiah and Lawrence counties.

At approximately 12:05 p.m. Friday, a three-vehicle crash occurred in the southbound lanes of Interstate 55 near the Wesson mile marker 51. Injuries were reported.

On Saturday, two wrecks happened on Hwy. 44 in the evening. The first was at 7:50 p.m. at Topeka-Jayess Road, involving two vehicles. The second was a single-vehicle wreck at 8:27 p.m. just two miles away, east of Thornhill Circle. No injuries were reported in either incident.
