Lincoln County 6U All-Stars headed to Texas

The Lincoln County 6U Coach Pitch All-Stars will play in Center, Texas this week in the 2023 Dixie Youth Regional World Series. The Lincoln County 6-U Coach Pitch All-Stars are hoping to come back from Center, Texas this week with World Series gold.
The team, coached by Josh Reed, Ben Sandifer, Earnie Triplett and Dwan Wilson are playing in The Dixie Youth Baseball Regional World Series.
They will face off in pool play against three teams from Alabama, two teams from Louisiana and another squad from Mississippi.
Team members include Garrett Barlow, Beckham Barney, Liam Medlin, Charlie Posey, Campbell Newman, Sawyer Owens, Stanton Reed, Josiah Stewart, Paul Sandifer, Layton Triplett and Jaxson Wilson.
Pool play begins on Thursday and then moves to an elimination bracket on Saturday.
The first game for the LC crew will be on Thursday at 10:15 a.m. against a team from Ruston, Louisiana.
In the state tournament held previously in Laurel, the Lincoln County 6U All-Stars finished as runners-up.
