The suspect in a Monday burglary has been identified and arrested.
On Monday morning, Aug. 28, a suspect burglarized Mobile Diesel Services at 654 Industrial Park Road NE. The suspect — caught on security camera — was described as a barefoot white female with shoulder-length dirty blonde hair, wearing a black dress, according to Brookhaven Assistant Police Chief Clint Earls.
Monday night, officers located and arrested 27-year-old Tiffany Brown, of 945 Stump Road, Gloster. Brown was charged with one count of burglary of a business and booked into the Lincoln County Jail.
Chief Kenneth Collins said the hard work and diligence of Sgt. Lisa Jackson and Sgt. Reggie Cain led to the positive result.
“From the time they got on duty, they made it their mission to find the person we were looking for,” Collins said. “I also want to thank Assistant Chief Earls for coming out and working late at night to finish this up. People don’t understand the long hours and hard work it takes to do this job. Special thanks to Sheriff Steve Rushing and the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office for their assistance in this arrest.”
