Tindle suffered serious injuries and was transported by ambulance to King’s Daughters Medical Center in Brookhaven and placed on a ventilator prior to being airlifted to a Jackson trauma center. Lincoln County Sheriff’s deputies and Brookhaven Police officers assisted in escorting the ambulance to KDMC from the Franklin County line.

“She is responding some but not like the neurologist wants her to,” a Wednesday evening social media post from her aunt Cindy Burch said. “We were told she had a small brain bleed. She has a TBI (traumatic brain injury).”

The post also described injuries to her face and pelvis, and asked for prayers.

An FCHS junior, Tindle is the daughter of Franklin County Sheriff Tom Tindle, who was among the first responders at the scene.
