At approximately 9:53 a.m. Friday, Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop M was notified of a wreck at the intersection of Hwy. 84 E and Hwy. 184 near Silver Creek.

A 2018 Buick Encore, driven by 63-year-old Cindy Hall of Prentiss, was traveling southbound on Hwy. 184, and attempted to enter traffic on Hwy. 84, according to MHP Cpl. Craig James.

A black 2017 Ford Transit van, driven by 40-year-old Christopher Nellum of McComb, was traveling east on Hwy. 84, and collided with the Encore when Hall attempted to enter the highway.

Nellum was not injured. Hall received minor injuries.
