When you look at the Enterprise defense on the field, No. 9 is a player that stands out. That’s the number worn by junior linebacker Payton Kyzar who looks taller than his 6-foot height as he has a rangy, athletic build.

On Friday in a 43-14 win over West Lincoln, Kyzar was all over the field to make 10 total tackles. Three of those tackles were for a loss as Kyzar possess an ability to make himself skinny while going through a hole in the opposing offensive line.

Kyzar also rushed for a pair of scores in the win over West Lincoln. He has 34 total tackles on the season for an Enterprise team that enters region play with a 3-2 record.
